Each December, our Fortis team comes together with one simple mission. Fill our trucks with generosity and deliver support to a local shelter that does incredible work for families and individuals in need. This year marks our 8th Annual Fill My Truck charity event, and we are proud to once again support Lazarus House in St Charles.
Lazarus House provides safe shelter, food, counseling and resources to adults and children who are facing housing insecurity. This year they have 63 adults and 12 children in their care and they rely on community support to meet daily needs. Every donated item makes a direct impact on the people they serve.
We invite you to join us on December 21 for a day of giving, community and holiday fun at the Fortis office.

Donations may be dropped off at our office anytime during business hours now through December 21. You can also give your items to any Fortis employee if that is more convenient.
What to Expect on December 21
As a thank you for helping us support Lazarus House, everyone who brings donations on the 21st can enjoy complimentary holiday activities at our office.
Guests will receive a charity bingo card that can be filled with items from Lazarus House’s wish list. Completed cards can be exchanged for:

This event is family friendly and open to the community. Our entire Fortis team will be there helping load donations and greeting everyone who stops by.

How to Donate Before the Event
We are collecting donations every weekday leading up to December 21. Items can be dropped off at our office during business hours. If you are unable to stop by, reach out to any member of our team and we will gladly arrange a pickup.
Our goal this year is to fill more trucks than ever before and deliver the supplies Lazarus House needs most. There are currently 63 adults and 12 children being supported through the Lazarus House with your support, we know it is possible to help best we can!
A Fortis Tradition Built on Community
Fill My Truck has grown from a small idea into an annual tradition that we look forward to every year. It reflects what matters most to us as a family owned company. Taking care of our neighbors, showing up for our community and living out our values beyond the jobsite.
